Two Days Until Santa Day
That is right, I said Santa Day. I forgo the usual name of Christmas. While I am not religious by any sense, I do enjoy giving and receiving presents. Also, there is something about a man dressed in a red outfit crawling down my chimney.
Santa Day is almost upon us, and I am so excited. I am done buying my gifts, I am armed with a pocket full of mistletoe (just for the ladies), and I am anxious to visit my family; It will be fun. I just hope I don't drown in the eggnog.
Here is a short list of the things I asked Santa for:
- At the very top of my list is a new opportunities. I have been bogged down in the same rut for about a year, and while I enjoy my friends, I feel it is time to move to greener pastures. Another thing that perturbs me is my ridiculous schedule.
- I am sure all my readers know about my coffee snobbery. It is one of my many pleasures to indulge in a fine cup of Joe. To make the season just right and nice I asked for a gift card to Caribou Coffee. There coffee selection is outstanding.
- I thought about wishing for world peace, but life would be so dull and boring without two nations wanting to annihilate one another. Think about it, how many times do people wish for world peace, and it never happens.
- Lets see, I've already said a new opportunities, right?
- I have always wanted, the book, Tuesdays With Morrie. Oh, wait a minute, one of my co-workers got me that in our secret Santa. Well, at least, I wish I could say he took the time to wrap it. What an awful gift.
That is all I can think of at this at this time and place. Two more days and then I will be blogging all about my presents.
