Even the Supreme Court Justices are Human

Earlier this week, the FBI released documents pertaining to Chief Justice William Rehnquist' that described his various addictions and depressions. During 1971, Justice Rehnquist' was proscribed placidyl to help alleviate back pain. Placidyl is a heavy narcotic, and is usually proscribe to narcoleptics. The standard does is 500 mil. Chief Justice Rehnquist' was taking around 1,500 mil. My only question is why did it go unnoticed for so many years. I doubt in today's society, where information is free flowing and everyone is connected, a secret that toxic could remain a secret.
