My Prediction for 2007
As we enter a New Year people tend to make prediction about what the New Year will hold, how technology will increase, and how the world will develop as a whole. Many of these predictions are based on past years, and growth in industry. Since the rise of civilizations, people have looked toward the future. Here are some of my predictions for 2007:
- The World Wide Web community will continue to grow, more and more people will go online, and legislation regulating the web will die; the web is a place where ideas can be exchanged freely.
- The organization, One Laptop Per Child, takes off, and supply's millions of disenfranchised children world wide, and people slowly, catch onto the idea (One Laptop Per Child)
- With the demise of Saddam Hussein, President Bush sends more troops to squelch the civil war in Iraq. President Bush's place in history is cemented
- Each person will become more independent, and there will be a growth of virtual web communities, such as Second Life (Second Life, and Bebo will become the new Myspace.
- In the year 2007, if you don't have a blog, a vlog, or a myspace page you are out of the loop. Everyone will be tuned in to the World Wide Web.
