48 Hours Left in 2006 Oh My
I will miss the year 2006. There are a lot have been many advances in my life. For instance, I purchased a new car, graduated college, moved (twice), got a full time position, and decided to go back to college. Man, time flew by this year.
I am looking forward to next year, who knows what dreams may come. I am slowly anticipating being showered with many new accouterments to my lifestyle.
New Years is a very good time. It is a time when everyone, no matter what their disagreements might be, can get together and bask in holiday cheers. I don't have many plans; I rarely make plans for the nights ahead, but instead, rely on spontaneity to direct my actions. However, I am going to a sublime party; I will relax with old friends, and make new ones, as the night progresses.
One thing that I love is making New Years resolutions. I try not to break them each year, but something just comes up, honestly. I think this year will be different. Here is a quick list of some of my New Years resolutions:
- Run everyday
- At least meet one new person everyday (I realize this is a lot to do, and I have not really defined what consists of a "meet". Nonetheless, it will be fun.)
- Read at one book every two week (this past year I as in the habit of reading one book a week, sadly, I was not consistent.)
I am curious, what is the percentage of people who follow their New Years resolutions; it is quite low I imagine. Anyway, there is a crude run down of my resolutions, and this year I plan to follow them each day.
